Solenoid Valve
A solenoid valve is an electromechanical device in which the solenoid uses an electric current to generate a magnetic field and thereby operate a mechanism which regulates the opening of fluid flow in a valve.
Solenoid valves differ in the characteristics of the electric current they use, the strength of the magnetic field they generate, the mechanism they use to regulate the fluid, and the type and characteristics of fluid they control.
- Refrigeration
Used in AC&R liquid line for all HFC, HFO, CFC refrigerant. Smaller sizes are direct acting where as medium and larger sizes are pilot operated. The valve body is made of forged brass and internal parts with SS, PTFE and chloroprene rubber. Wide range of activating coils with standard voltage will be 12VDC, 24VDC, 24VAC, 115VAC and 240VAC.
- Industrial
Brass Solenoid valves for the flow of air, oil, gas , water or steam with ranging from 1/8”FPT to 2”FPT. Depending on different fluid usage valve body may be brass or stainless steel and gaskets will be FPM/FKM/Viton (fluoro rubber), EDPM (ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber) or NBR (nitrile rubber). Wide range of activating coils with standard voltage will be 12VDC, 24VDC, 24VAC, 115VAC and 240VAC.
