Tools Measuring Device Gauges

A thermometer is a device that measures temperature or a temperature gradient. A thermometer has two important elements, a temperature sensor in which some change occurs with a change in temperature and some means of converting this change into a numerical value.

We stock thermometer for water pipe lines, which uses following models of temperature sensor.

• Spirit in glass (replacing former element mercury), which expands and indicates on a vertical scale.
• Bi-metal thermometer, where a pair of solid metal expand and actuates a mechanical movement to indicate on a circular scale; also known as dial type scale.
• Vapor actuated thermometer, which as name suggest, vapor expands inside the bulb and actuates a mechanical movement to indicate on a circular scale / dial type scale.
• Digital thermometer, uses a NTC/PTC probe to sense the temperature. The electrical impulse is used as digital input to indicate the temperature.
